DJ Tor Lloyd

 

Tor has been with GF from day one and is super important to Girlflix! So much heart and talent on the decks and as an amazing human.

“I first started DJing in the early 90’s under Mistress Deviant gracing the decks at legendary West London venues Club UK, Subterania, and The Milk Bar. Later in 90’s I switched to the London gay clubbing scene and could be found at all the London lesbian clubs including Kitty Lips, Pumpin’ Curls, Clit Club, FIST & Betty’s. I moved to Brighton in the early 2000’s and became a regular resident at the experimental techno night BEEP; and Sunday club The Living Room; now DJing under BN1BOI. 

 

Now based in Sunny Worthing; I am now part of the successful club night ALL4LOVE.  I also have regular slots at Block Bar, Sterns Ravers Reunion ad Girlflix, a club with the focus on women and women DJ’s.

In 2021 I had the honour of opening Worthing Pride with Liz Davies aka Eliza Pink & we revisit Worthing Pride this year with Girlflix!”

DJ Eliza Pink

 

Eliza Pink has been with GirlFlix from the start. Her energy, positive outlook and passion for music shines through.

 

Eliza Pink loves to bring the joy and a good dose of oomph to her sets! She enjoys playing a mixture of old and new tunes – ranging from fresh and funky beats to beautiful and soulful sounds that will make you feel on top of the world. Every track she plays is meticulously selected for it’s ability to get the dance floor rocking and you can clearly see Eliza Pink’s love for the music as she dances away behind the decks!

Eliza sometimes loves to go deep and tribal, bringing people together with the healing power of music and beats. Other times you will catch her playing hands in the air, uplifting tunes that make the crowd whoop! Oh and she also loves a good remix or an excellent mash-up. She will take you on a journey that will lift your spirits and help you to sing and dance your cares away!

“Being part of the GirlFlix community means a great deal to Eliza, as someone who arrived on the scene in her late 30’s, she was always hearing of these amazing lesbian events that used to happen, back in the day, and they sounded so much fun to her! She had begun to believe they were a thing of the past but now Steph has breathed new life back into the lesbian club / party scene with GirlFlix so Eliza is beyond thrilled to actually be part of the team – and even having the honour of playing her musical selections for everyone to enjoy! DJ S2K – Shimmie2Kimmie

 

AKA Kim Morrison joined Girlflix with a BANG! She defiantly lights up the room and always makes us smile inside and outside of the events!

 
“Hi I am Dj S2k ‘Shimmie2kimmie’ I am a more mature Lady and a Dj for our fabulous Girlflix Crew. I used to Dj with my own Radio show at under the bridge studios with an hour show called “Shimmie2kimmie” hence the name djS2K .I had that show running for 8 years. I adore house, soul old skool, garage, Funky dance toones. You can expect to stay firmly on the dance floor when I’m on my decks… You can expect sounds from Earth Wind and Fire, M people, Sade, Mica Paris….
 
Influenced by Hed Kandi compilations and old skool classics from the 80’s the music I grew up with and danced my socks off too in my teens and twenties and still doing of course.
Interesting fact about me… I have been on the TV along side Faith Brown… Kieth Chegwin ( now we are going waaaay back) on a Talent show where I actually won!”

DJ Zoe Hart

 

Zoe first joined the crew as our sound and light guru making sure everything was fabulous. Now she has exploded onto the decks, there will be not stopping her. The crowd love her energy… and so do we!

 
DJing across the globe since 1999 holding residencies at clubs such as Torture Garden, Fist, Party Proactive and Polysexual to name but a few! Although known as The *Ting* for many years playing harder styles of music, she now plays a HUGE mixed bag suitable for any time of night. At Girlflix you can expect Nu Disco, House, some breaks with LIVE vocals to boot! This is not just any performance, but a real treat!
  
Zoe Hart is #YourSoundLady. She has been behind the scenes producing tracks, running her own events and singing live. Zoe says, “Music has always been a big part of my life, I discovered that music really is my be all and end all.”
